Which mobile browser do you use?

I'm surfing on a smartphone (Nokia N79) and due lack of 3G network or wifi I have to depend on using a proxy browser. I'm using Opera Mini and its pretty good. The page rendering is nice and thanks to the page compression I don't have to wait for a long time for the pages to load.
Its pretty cool to be able to access the web and have the information you need, when you need it. I don't have a PC at the moment. I had one but there was some problem with it and it has not been fixed, so I'm only using my mobile. I've got a fixed rate unlimited usage data plan from Aircel so I'm online whenever I'm free. And with the time I've spent online I think the best mobile browser you can get is Opera Mini. Try it. You won't regret it.

Download Opera Mini

  1. I'm using Opera Mini as well, but on Sony Ericsson K800, which I chose few years ago because of good camera. The bad thing about this phone is 3G connection using a lot of power (draining the battery quick). Therefore I use GPRS for Opera Mini, and still it works pretty fast.

What comes to your PC, and if it's not a hardware issue, then try to rescue it with Linux.

  2. We're currently living with my Aunt in my Grandmother's house, been here for the last 2 years now. The PC at home was not being used and we weren't aware it had stopped working until we considered getting it here. My brother, has worked with a local computer vendor, has checked it and states that the motherboard is faulty and needs to be changed. Its not a priority right now, but if we do move back home I'll probably get the PC fixed. But until then, I'm mobile.

  4. I've used Airtel before but then changed to Aircel because they're offering a better deal for internet usage which is what I primarily use my phone for.

  8. Yes. The page compression is what truly sets Opera Mini apart. I've been using Opera Mobile for the last few days and I noticed how much more data I've managed to use doing the same things I do usually.
I'm not surprised iPhone users want Opera Mini too. :)
